The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Bill (Don Diamont) loves Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He told her that on the night he got down on bended knee and proposed to her. Steffy continues to count on Liam’s (Scott Clifton) eventual return and openly claims that she doesn’t want Bill. But what happens if Liam has abandoned Leffy for good?
Bill was right. He has a connection with Steffy. However, she loves Liam and his having his baby. Yet, those same two powerful factors could boomerang in Bill’s direction if Leffy is actually done.
It appeared as though Leffy’s reconciliation was possible. Liam remained in contact with with his wife, though he had built an emotional wall. While Liam was saying that he couldn’t get past how she’d betrayed him, Leffy’s future held countless possibilities due to the baby.
Liam is a very sensitive creature. He was surely going to be affected by the many moments leading up to his child’s birth. If no outside influences had come into this soapy picture, it was reasonable to believe that Liam and Steffy would have eventually gotten back together by, or before, their baby’s birth.
But there is an influence that is affecting Liam. Her name is Hope (Annika Noelle) and she is a power player. Lope’s past link is actually reforming by the day.
Assume that Liam revives his relationship with Hope, since he will be kissing her on this week’s new B&B episodes, April 2-6, or merely doesn’t go back to Steffy. In this seemingly likely scenario, with however it happens, Steffy will be left alone. Do B&B fans really believe that she’ll opt to raise a child on her own, or be without a man indefinitely?
Assuming that Lope does reunite, Liam might still oppose Steffy being with his father due to custody related issues. Viewers could see a scenario where Liam sues for full custody based upon the night Bill and Steffy spent together. Whether he’d win is another issue.
Meanwhile, again assuming Lope exists, Steffy would feel betrayed. She won’t necessarily be looking to strike back, but would be open to consolation. In effect, a reverse comfort arc could play out.
Instead of Steffy consoling Bill about his broken relationship with Liam, as she did last year, Bill would comfort her about Liam’s abandonment. Diamont’s character is surely not going to get over his feelings for Steffy, that’s for sure.
Dollar Bill wants what he wants. He also does whatever is necessary in order to get it. As long as he believes there’s a chance, or sees an opening, he’ll go for it, meaning Steffy.
