The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) misgivings will lead to Steam’s ruin if she doesn’t soon tell Liam (Scott Clifton) the scary truth. Bill (Don Diamont) is attempting to blackmail the woman he claims to adore, asserting that Taylor (Hunter Tylo) will go to prison is Steffy doesn’t relent to his deranged demand.
It seemed like Steam finally crossed the finish line. The hoped-for reunion that Steffy has been patiently waiting for happened.
Liam was about to marry Hope (Annika Noelle), as B&B viewers recall, when Wyatt (Darin Brooks) decided that he just couldn’t take it anymore. So he pulled Liam from the proceeding nuptials and told him that Bill set up a contrived scene, using Justin (Aaron Spears) as his henchman. The effect made Wyatt believe that Dollar Still was still together when it wasn’t.
Wyatt released to his brother what appeared to be true and Liam glammed onto that falsehood. It was true that he knee-jerked to distrusting Steffy because of the unseemly incident that took place at the Forrester mansion guest house last fall. However, few understanding individuals blamed Liam for his resultant feelings.
Kelly’s early birth then served to transform Liam’s outlook, as was anticipated by her mother. Incredibly, Bill triggered that event as well. He was stalking Steffy at the cliff house before being thrown out. But Steffy’s trip, after closing the front door, directly led to Steam’s revival.
Now, even after admitting that he’d been to some type of supposedly enlightening retreat, Bill has boomeranged back to his obsession. His multiple recent threats to Steffy directly stated that he would call the authorities and turn Taylor in if remarriage with Liam happened.
Clifton’s character wasn’t expecting Steffy to resist the reunion she’s been calling for, yet that’s exactly what’s oddly happening. If B&B writes the storyline believably, Liam will quickly determine that Bill has injected himself into their lives again.
Soap fans are often willing to suspend disbelief in order to further a good plot. But none of them like seeing a character dumbed-down in order to extend a circumstance that wouldn’t otherwise exist if common sense was applied. Therefore, Liam must determine that his horrible father is preventing Steffy from fully reclaiming their family. Doing so would establish a far more engaging arc then rerunning what’s already been shown in recent months.
Steffy, come clean. That’s the easiest way to prevent what could be a final split with your husband. Liam is now fully motivated to creatively fight his father. Together, you can defeat Bill.
