The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will eventually give birth to her baby girl, but the circumstances won’t be ideal. For starters, Liam (Scott Clifton) still isn’t willing to get back together with Steffy. That probably won’t change between now and when their daughter’s born.
Steffy would’ve loved to welcome their kid into a family with committed parents, but she may have to wait on that dream. She undoubtedly has more suffering in her future. It looks like the birth may happen during May sweeps, which means we could see some intriguing story developments.
It’s common for soaps to speed pregnancies up, so it’s possible this will be a full-term baby. However, it makes more sense to play the preemie angle. B&B will need some shockers for the sake of ratings and this could help pull Liam back toward Steffy.
Of course, there may be another reason for Liam to suddenly soften. There’s a chance that Steffy’s life will be at stake, too. Could Steffy nearly die in childbirth – JMW suggested recently that Steffy will face health complications and baby drama due to the incredible amount of stress she continues to suffer. Liam might be by Steffy’s side when complications suddenly strike. He would certainly panic and beg Steffy’s doctor to do something.
Bonus points if a fight with Liam is what sends Steffy into labor in the first place! That would really rev up the guilt. As Liam waits to see if Steffy will survive, he could flash through the ups and downs of his relationship with her. Should one horrible mistake really overshadow the special bond they used to share?
Liam might determine that the good outweighs the bad. He’d beg Steffy to live so he could offer forgiveness and grant her the fresh start she’s been dreaming of. Steffy would ultimately recover and their baby hopefully would as well.
Will all the May sweeps drama lead to a new beginning? The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that things will get dicey, but we’d say Liam and Steffy can make it work in the end. Their connection will be a tough one to break!
