The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers ask a direct question. Who is the better man, Bill (Don Diamont) or Liam (Scott Clifton)? This question purposely asks for multiple interpretations of what better means. For some, it will mean loyalty, honesty and other such traits. For others, sheer physical strength, along with creative morality will be valued.
Liam is honest, sometimes to a fault. He champions the so-called little guy, or in Sally’s case(Courtney Hope), girl, as her grandmother (Shirley, Patrika Darbo) called her (Sally girl).
Bill pursues creative morality, meaning that he lives by a fluid code. His personal life isn’t all about control, as his sons and the various women he’s been involved with would have to admit.
Capitalists aren’t all bad, as anti-money people claim. As in any system of commerce, there are personality types who manipulate factors to their own advantage when possible. Bill has done just that, as Spencer Publications’ profit margins show.
Liam worshiped his wife to such a degree that he felt compelled to tell her what happened under the Spectra Fashions’ building rubble. He admitted to kissing Sally not once, but twice.
Some husbands (or wives) would have never been so open, but that choice strongly reflected the nature of Liam’s character. He’s good-natured at his core, which B&B fans know flows genetically from his mother’s side.
And now that nickname, Dollar Bill, must be addressed.
Liam doesn’t have a nickname, which means that he’s not considered to be cool. In a pure hand-to-hand fight Liam could overpower some guys, but many would knock him out cold.
Okay, now Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) must be addressed. She’s Liam’s wife, which means that what Bill did with her was unequivocally wrong.
Whether Dollar Still should have married awhile back, instead of Leffy really isn’t the issue. However, now that the one-night stand at the Forrester mansion guest house has been exposed, B&B fans are right to wonder if Bill and Steffy will get together regardless of whose child she’s carrying.
Interestingly, certain views of Liam, or Bill are linked to B&B fans view of Steffy. Steffy supporters can argue that she’d be better off with Bill, or Liam or neither. All who are opposed to this woman likely don’t care who she’s with, or if she’s with no one at all.
Anyone who is conflicted about Steffy, should compartmentalize that character for a moment. Okay, visualize Liam. Then picture Bill. Now, who is the better man when Steffy isn’t considered?
