The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers asks a question and a possible answer isn’t neither. If B&B devotees had to pick one person, Liam (Scott Clifton) or Bill (Don Diamont) to match with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who would they choose?
The father or son in the spotlight isn’t necessarily Steffy’s ideal mate. Both men are off more than a bit, meaning they are kooky. But she loves Liam and has some type of latent feelings for Bill.
Liam’s strongest plus is that he’s the father of the baby Steffy is expecting this summer. There’s no question that he’ll be devoted to his daughter. But a loving and normally functioning home also would see Liam committed to his wife as well. On that point, he’s fallen short for nearly a year. Plus, the ground underneath whatever is left of Leffy is currently sinking.
On the downside, Liam hasn’t made Steffy the center of his life. Sally (Courtney Hope) captured his fancy last year. The figurative and literal fallout from the Spectra Fashions matter eventually resulted in Steffy becoming disgusted, taking off, arriving at her family’s guest house and having Bill find her. What Dollar Still did became the source of major drama.
Speaking of Dollar, he’s loved Steffy for years. It can be argued that she’s his actual soul mate. Justin (Aaron Spears) just hit the nail hard on Bill’s thick head when he said that Steffy is the only person who tells him what to do. Considering Bill’s stubborn nature and volatility, that means Steffy owns his heart.
On the upside, Bill genuinely pushed hard for the revival of Leffy. He stopped his push to win Steffy, but Liam ran away from the cliff house. Liam’s choice to live in a hotel room, rather than with his wife makes Bill’s recent marriage proposal worth reconsidering.
On the downside, Bill is a maniac. No need to add to that, right? Steffy will be left with a choice when all factors are considered. She’ll be able to either reconcile with Liam, which is actually what she wants, or travel through pregnancy alone.
Bill will go all-out to win Steffy’s love if he’s convinced that Liam is through with her. Liam’s recent actions with Hope (Annika Noelle) and rather stunning choice to tell Steffy to go to his father has already opened a new door.
If Liam is pushing for Dollar Still and won’t continue Leffy, Bill will revive his relentless pursuit of Steffy. At that point she’ll have three choices. Hope Liam eventually returns to her, or go with Bill. Of course, she could also ditch both guys and go with a third man. But that’s another story for a different digital day.
