The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, August 30, tease that Hope (Annika Noelle) will face some disappointment. She was on cloud nine after receiving an ultrasound photo and gushing over it with Liam (Scott Clifton). Unfortunately, Hope will be left alone with that picture soon enough.
Liam will have to dash off after getting a call from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). It looks like she’ll need some help with Kelly, so Liam will want to get over there right away. Hope will feel like Liam’s other family is really raining on her parade, but she’ll try to accept the situation. It’s not ideal, but both Hope and Steffy will have to share Liam. That’s just the way it is.
Later, Steffy will likely apologize for pulling Liam away. She’s genuinely trying to keep the peace with Liam’s new wife. Steffy will ask about Hope’s ultrasound appointment and get some positive updates. She’ll be pleased to hear this B&B baby’s strong and healthy.
Hope will let a little of her happiness shine through, which will be fine with Steffy. Things are complicated, but she wants Hope to savor her baby bliss. Steffy will reflect on her own journey with Kelly and promise that Hope’s got more joy ahead of her.
Sadly, a scare’s coming up next week. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will be hospitalized following a medical crisis, so that can’t be good. Let’s hope the kid survives! In the meantime, Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) will keep working on Katie (Heather Tom). Over the phone, he’ll insist that Bill’s (Don Diamont) negligence is having an effect on Will (Finnegan George).
Thorne will argue that Katie needs to take control. He won’t think they should wait around and let Bill find a way to get the upper hand. Afterward, the custody case will make a few waves at Forrester Creations. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will believe Katie has seen the light when it comes to Bill. He’ll be convinced that she’ll go for sole custody.
Like Thorne and Ridge, Quinn (Rena Sofer) will think Katie’s doing the right thing. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), on the other hand, will insist it’s so very wrong. She’ll be appalled that Katie’s trying to keep Will from his father. Brooke will defend Bill’s right to see his son, so expect her support to cause issues in her marriage.
