The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers update for Tuesday, October 2, tease that the pressure will be on for Judge McMullen (Joe Lando) as he begins to deliver his ruling in the custody case between Bill (Don Diamont) and Katie (Heather Tom). He’ll have Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) sitting right there staring him down and expecting an outcome in Katie’s favor.
But he’ll also have Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) watching as well. B&B spoilers say that Brooke will later have a chat with Judge McMullen about his ruling, and that she’ll suspect that something’s up between the judge and Ridge. So, it seems that she may catch a glance or two between Ridge and the judge, or notice that the judge seems awfully uncomfortable with his ruling.
Despite his discomfort, Judge McMullen will announce his ruling, and it looks like Ridge will get his way and Katie will be awarded full custody of Will (Finnegan George). That will be great news for Katie but a devastating loss to Bill. Given that he doesn’t know anything about the judge tampering, there won’t be anything for Bill to do but accept the ruling and figure out where to go from here.
Afterwards, Bill and Katie will come together and decide to tell Will the outcome of the case as a united front. Bill will want to start out the new custody arrangement on good terms, so they will have a heartfelt talk with Will about the ruling and what it means for him going forward.
Katie and Bill will likely assure Will that they both love him very much, and that his dad is going to be an important part of his life from now on. Bill has a lot of work ahead of him to get himself and Will back into a position of trust, and Bill will likely reassure Will that he’s going to do his best to be the dad he should be.
