The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that soapy science results will be changed, possibly in simultaneous instances. Kelly’s coming genetic issue will directly link her to Bill (Don Diamont), not Liam (Scott Clifton), who will then be revised as Thorne’s (Ingo Rademacher) son.
What?
Okay, Kelly was presented as the offspring of Steam, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam. But her earlier than expected delivery was actually pronounced as on time by Dr. Phillips (Robin Givens). Neither of Kelly’s parents questioned that issue, which is explainable as Steam having been caught up in the emotion of the moment. Steffy had taken a fall, due to her having thrown Bill out of the cliff house, which then forced labor.
Kelly has been healthy since being born. Her post-birth care at the hospital was purely based on conservative medical procedures and she hasn’t evidenced any unusual issues since being taken home. That plot point can easily change.
Meanwhile, the intentional writing of Thorne into Katie’s life is interesting. It just so happens that the only other man in the world who could have been Liam’s father became interested in Katie (Heather Tom) and is now dating her after Watie (Wyatt, Darin Brooks and Katie) split?
Liam has never seemed like Bill’s offspring. While Wyatt is also similarly nice and may meet his own revised biological fate someday, Brooks’ character does have an eye for business. Quinn (Rena Sofer) would surely not also knowingly allow her son to exist under Bill’s dark shadow if she knew that he was another man’s child, either.
Okay, how?
Project Kelly as soon evidencing some health issue. She’s later diagnosed as having a rare genetic condition that won’t prove tragic, but simply needs to be treated. Said matter requires parental testing, thereby resulting in Liam’s paternity switch, along with Thorne exhibiting Kelly’s condition as well.
Wait! Why would these dramatic shifts take place?
Yes, all storylines can be redrawn to the new points. Liam loses his daughter, thereby strengthening his bond with Hope (Annika Noelle) and gains a much better dad. Thorne’s current personality matches Liam’s and would establish a new Forrester clan member.
But what about Liam and Steffy then sharing a connection with Stephanie (Susan Flannery)? Well, maybe Thorne, or Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) isn’t Stephanie’s son, or Steffy isn’t Ridge’s daughter, as has been thought. Any of the proposed third paternity switches would solve the Liam-Steffy dilemma if B&B revises history. By that point it would be easy to make a third historical revision.
