The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, September 5, tease that Katie (Heather Tom) will announce her decision at Forrester. She’ll reveal that she’s filed for sole custody of Will (Finnegan George), which should leave Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) upset. Part of her probably believed Katie would settle down and drop the idea, but that’s not going to happen.
Of course, Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) will keep backing Katie up. He’s behind her 100 percent on this. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) isn’t a fan of Bill (Don Diamont) either, so he’ll echo that Katie’s making the right choice. It sounds like Brooke will stand alone when it comes to supporting Bill. She still cares about her ex, so she’ll hate the thought of him losing Will and suffering because of it.
Nevertheless, Brooke will have to shift gears soon. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will have an announcement of his own. Unfortunately, it’ll destroy most of the progress Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) have made. Ridge will admit that he’s making some budget cuts, so one woman’s line will have to go.
When faced with objections, Ridge will refuse to back down. He’ll insist that they can keep Hope for the Future or the intimates line, but not both. Ridge will promise he’s going to consider this from every angle. He’ll assure the staff that he’ll do what’s best for the company, but Brooke may not be so certain. She’ll most likely assume Ridge is going to side with his own daughter over hers.
There’s a good chance Ridge will indeed pick Steffy’s line eventually. For now, Brooke will just complain and hope something changes. She’ll worry about what this will do to Steffy and Hope’s bond, too. B&B fans can expect serious drama once this feud reignites. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Steffy will hold nothing back as they fight for what they want.
