The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Katie (Heather Tom) will make a deal with Bill (Don Diamont) and keep what they learn about Bill’s lies a secret. It seems that “Watie” will gain Bill’s blessing on their own relationship in exchange for their silence on how Bill manipulated Liam (Scott Clifton) into dumping Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that this arrangement will be Katie’s idea, and that Wyatt will go along with it, but psychologically, will he be fully on board? It’s likely that Wyatt will have some major internal conflict about this “deal with the devil.” What will it do to him to have to stand and watch his brother marry Hope (Annika Noelle), when he knows that the only reason the wedding is happening in the first place is due not only to Bill’s lies but his own silence on the matter?
Knowing Wyatt, guilt will probably get the best of him and he’ll be miserable for a while as he’s pulled in two directions. On the one hand, he will want to clear his conscience and come clean with Liam, but on the other hand he’s got his relationship with Katie to think about. Katie masterminded the deal and he doesn’t want to disappoint (or lose) her. He also doesn’t want to keep sneaking around with Katie behind Bill’s back forever, and he deserves a chance at happiness, too, right?
But there’s got to be some eventual fallout. At some point, the truth must come out about (a) Bill’s deception and (b) Katie and Wyatt’s decision to keep quiet about what they know. Then what? Liam is going to have a lot to be angry about, but his father’s betrayal probably won’t shock him too much. After all, Bill is Bill. Wyatt’s betrayal, on the other hand, is sure to catch Liam completely off guard. Brothers are supposed to look out for each other!
So, how will Liam react when he eventually learns that Wyatt withheld the truth for his own personal gain? These brothers will probably be at odds for a while, and Liam may write Wyatt off completely, arguing that Wyatt is (gasp) just like Bill, putting his latest romantic obsession above his family. Ouch.
