The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) disappearance will cause quite a stir. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will blast Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) for losing the tot, but he’ll settle down eventually. He’ll realize that he needs to stop pointing the finger and start doing whatever it takes to find his son.
Of course, Y&R fans know Christian doesn’t really belong to Nick. Adam is actually the kid’s father. Plus, The Young and the Restless spoilers say some familiar characters will return with new faces. All of that’s led to some Adam Newman comeback buzz. If he popped up and saw his kid wandering off, it’d be the perfect opportunity to make the grab.
This could be a great intro for an Adam recast, especially since Victor (Eric Braeden) will step up to help find Christian. If Victor discovers his son and grandson together, it could present some interesting opportunities. There may be a logical reason for Adam’s absence. He might’ve had a lengthy recovery after the explosion or just decided he would only bring pain to his loved ones.
Adam might’ve changed his mind later and decided to reclaim his life back in Genoa City. A strong, edgy Adam is needed in town. This shouldn’t be a wimpy version of the beloved character. Y&R could use an Adam who’s willing to take charge and fight for what he wants.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will make a shocking hire at Newman Enterprises in 2018. He’ll bring someone into the fray who could give Victoria (Amelia Heinle) some real competition. She’ll quickly determine that her power is in jeopardy.
It looks like J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are getting on board at Chancellor Industries. Ravi (Abhi Sinha) seems committed to Jabot for now. Who does that leave? Could Adam Newman be the surprising employee? It’d be fun to watch Victoria and Adam battle it out. Victoria tends to push Abby (Melissa Ordway) around, but she’d have a tough time bullying Adam.
Victor may shift his favor to Adam and cause another family crisis. The Young and the Restless could give us some gripping drama as Adam adjusts to his old world.
