The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that we’ve finally got a return airdate for Anita (Catherine Bach). When Y&R fans heard Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) mom was returning, they assumed there’d be trouble. Anita usually gets involved when the situation grows dire. That’ll certainly be the case this time!
Anita will come back in the picture on March 1. The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll play an interesting role in Chelsea’s official exit. Here’s how things will probably play out. Thanks to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case), the walls will really close in. Chelsea will worry that she’s going to land in hot water over all her secrets.
It’s possible that Chelsea will summon Anita as everything starts to crumble. She could sense that she’s going to need her mother around soon enough. However, there’s also a chance that Anita will arrive for the wedding. An invitation could put her in the right place at the right time.
Regardless, Chelsea will panic as hidden truths are divulged. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick (Joshua Morrow) will discover the paternity lie. The latest info points to February 28 as the big day, so a major confrontation should go down soon after.
Chelsea will inevitably face Nick’s wrath for lying about Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) biological father. Once Nick knows Christian is Adam’s (Justin Hartley) son, Phyllis could present the evidence of Chelsea’s scam. There’ll be no reason for her to keep quiet about it any longer.
Nick will obviously wash his hands of Chelsea, but that may not be good enough for Victor (Eric Braeden). He vowed to have Chelsea thrown behind bars if the paternity shocker ever came out. After everything’s been exposed, Chelsea could have prison threats hitting her from every angle. She’ll know she needs to get the heck out of Dodge!
Forget about trying to salvage this life in Genoa City. It’s time for Chelsea to abandon ship and save herself before it’s too late. Perhaps that’s where Anita will come in. Since she ties in with Chelsea’s departure, maybe Anita will come up with a getaway plan. She’s had plenty of experience as a con artist, so she knows what to do when it all goes horribly wrong.
