The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) could be begging for trouble. Victor (Eric Braeden) hired Ash for several reasons. Ashley’s certainly savvy when it comes to business. She’s got a good grip on corporate strategies and she knows how to get stuff done. Victor also likes the idea of giving Victoria (Amelia Heinle) some healthy competition to keep her on her toes.
However, this whole setup seems like a recipe for disaster. In a recent episode, Jack (Peter Bergman) begged Ashley to accept his apology and come back to Jabot. It was too little, too late for Ash. She forgave Jack, but argued that he wasn’t trustworthy. Ashley doesn’t know how she could return to the family company without that trust.
Of course, Ashley’s somehow fine with working for Victor (Eric Braeden). What kind of trust does she really have at Newman Enterprises? If Ashley thinks Victor is trustworthy, she’s making a huge mistake. Victor only cares about himself on any given day. When drama inevitably hits, Ashley’s bound to get burned.
That’s especially true since Ashley can’t be trusted either. The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll continue to pull dirty stunts and drive Victoria up the wall. Ashley could provoke the wrath of several Newmans.
Victor and Victoria are the obvious risks, but we can’t forget about Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She certainly won’t be happy about how her daughter’s being treated. Nikki will probably keep stepping up for Victoria in the weeks ahead. She may have some influence on Victor’s decisions.
Y&R fans know that Victor values family loyalty above all else. Ashley’s convinced that she’ll have a shot at the Newman throne one day, but that may not be the case. Would Victor actually give an Abbott that much power? He’s normally focused on the Newman legacy, so that’d be out of character.
Now that J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) going to be working at Newman, he can serve as another ally for Victoria. Bottom line, there are plenty of ways Ashley could go down. Some major threats are in play, so it may not be long until Ashley goes crawling back to Jabot.
Once that happens, maybe Ashley and Jack can bond over their desire to destroy Newman! These siblings could come together and reignite a fierce war.
