The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the cover-up crew is in for shock. Y&R fans know they’re currently being blackmailed for $250,000. The threats were revving up, so Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) decided to make the payment. Of course, that won’t be the end of it. Like Victoria (Amelia Heinle) fears, their blackmailer will probably just keep coming back for more.
There’s been plenty of conflict within the group over this and that trend will continue after a stunning revelation. The Young and the Restless spoilers say the blackmailer’s identity will be exposed. The latest November sweeps info offers some intriguing details, so let’s consider who might be behind the drama.
Once the girls’ night gang knows who’s to blame, they’ll fight over how to handle it. Victoria will ultimately be the one to take charge. She’ll pull off a move that’d make Victor (Eric Braeden) proud – if he knew about any of this! Victoria will decide she’s not going to let this person mess with them.
Plenty of fans out there still think Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) guilty, but that doesn’t exactly add up. She already told Mariah (Camryn Grimes) it’d be around a year before she paid off the smugglers. How would she explain suddenly having an extra $250,000?
Even if Tessa kept quiet about it, she’d still have to work night and day to keep up the charade. Besides, this poor girl can barely run an espresso machine. Does Tessa really have the skills to cover her tracks and hide her digital footprint? It’s not like Tessa could hire someone to do it for her. She has a hard enough time tackling rent and smuggler payments.
Plus, Sharon (Sharon Case) would absolutely be taking the lead here if Tessa were responsible. She’d have her head on a silver platter! Since we know Victoria will step up, that provides another clue. Sharon would probably handle Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) as well if he were behind this. With that in mind, we should consider other options.
Sneaky Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) would’ve been a great surprise blackmailer since she’s tech savvy and helped Billy cover half his gambling debt – which happened to be $250,000. However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis and the others may move J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) body. Would Phyllis risk everything like that? It’s doubtful she’d go that far to feign innocence.
So who’s left? Perhaps some returning Y&R characters should be considered. Mac (Kelly Kruger) is headed back to The Young and the Restless soon. Could she know more than the cover-up crew suspects? Perhaps Mac did some spying and digging. She might want justice for the father of her children, which could be why she’s messing the ladies. Mac might be hoping they’ll trip themselves up.
Jill (Jess Walton) will also make a Y&R comeback and she’s responsible for that ugly park sculpture. You never know how she might fit in all this. Then again, The Young and the Restless could make it someone completely unexpected – like Arturo (Jason Canela). We don’t know much about the guy and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will be battling suspicions about him over the next few weeks.
It’s possible there’s some larger plan that involves pinning this shady strategy on Rey. Whatever the case, Y&R will reveal the blackmailer’s identity and that’ll cause quite a stir.
