The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has plenty of drama headed her way before her reported Y&R exit at the end of her current storyline. Daytime Confidential has confirmed that MCE is leaving Y&R for other opportunities but the door is open for her possible return.
Chelsea recently had some harsh words for Hilary (Mishael Morgan), who claims to be on a better path now. Chelsea just couldn’t buy that. She suggested that people never really change; they just learn how to hide who they are.
It seems Chelsea could put herself in that category. Once a con artist, always a con artist! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea’s true colors are about to be exposed. Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will soon discover that the Chelsea 2.0 website has been cloned. It’s possible that Chelsea’s been selling her own items on this fake site.
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will suspect that some funny business is going on. It’s a little weird to put Chelsea 2.0 in jeopardy like this, but it would allow Chelsea to skip any fees she has to pay Lauren. She’d be getting the full profit from the stuff she sells on the side. Chelsea might’ve wanted to keep her main Fenmore’s deal in play for the publicity and clout.
Unfortunately, things are only going to get worse from there. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea’s past will become a major factor. As shocking secrets are revealed and scandals explode, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will have serious doubts about his relationship. He’ll wonder if he really knows the woman he fell in love with.
It probably won’t be long until Chelsea hits rock bottom. She may feel like her life’s falling apart. Chelsea’s going to need some light at the end of this tunnel. Even if she’s been continuing work as a con artist, many viewers still enjoy this character. Chelsea’s been through a lot and deserves some happiness.
Adam (Justin Hartley) certainly wouldn’t care about Chelsea being into shady schemes. He’s typically pretty shady himself! In fact, Adam may have gotten himself into some trouble. Y&R fans know a presumed death isn’t much of a death at all. There’s a good chance Adam’s still alive and out there somewhere.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Chelsea will receive a threatening message soon. She’ll become quite concerned about this cryptic warning. Could someone be holding Adam hostage? If so, Chelsea may have a tough time getting anyone to believe it. Her track record could make everyone assume this is just another con.
Chelsea would undoubtedly try to get Victor (Eric Braeden) on her side. The Young and the Restless could use this plot to facilitate Chelsea’s reported exit to join Adam.
