The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that June will bring some legal troubles on the CBS soap. Lauren Woodland will reprise her role as Brittany Hodges next month and there’s a good reason why. Brittany will be on hand to serve as a lawyer for one or more Y&R characters. Woodland happens to be an attorney in real life, so this should be a fun nod to her job outside of acting.
Of course, this will also be a crucial part of the story. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kelly Kruger will return as Mac, so that serves as another big hint. It sounds like major J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) secrets will come up during May sweeps. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case) will inevitably find themselves in hot water.
It’s possible Nikki will try to take all the blame, but that plan clearly won’t work. Paul (Doug Davidson) isn’t too bright, but he’ll surely realize Nikki couldn’t have covered this up on her own. Since he knows who was at that party, it shouldn’t be too hard to put the clues together.
Besides, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are already battling serious guilt. It won’t take much to make them crack. If everyone else is going down, Phyllis should come clean as well. We at least hope she’ll have the decency to fall with the rest of the group. After all, the cover-up was her ill-advised idea!
Brittany’s comeback suggests that several people will indeed face charges. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) may not have time to prepare and defend everyone. There’s certainly going to be some legal mayhem in Genoa City! Nikki could face the gravest consequences she’s the one who struck the blow. Perhaps Michael will defend her while Brittany steps up for the others.
Mac will undoubtedly want to see how the trials turn out. Will she be supportive once the whole story is revealed or will she feel like that fate was too harsh for J.T.? Mac obviously had a huge problem with J.T.’s behavior, but his death could bring some complicated feelings.
Still, Nikki and the others never meant for things to go down like this. They may be able to get Mac on their side. She might even testify about J.T.’s abuse and the dangerous path he was headed down. Regardless, The Young and the Restless fans won’t want to miss all the drama.
