The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Double J.T. Twist - Abuser’s Return Brings a Shocker – J.T. Alive, But Not for Long?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the cover-up crew will continue to battle an unknown enemy. They’ve been trying to figure out who would frame Victor (Eric Braeden) and now, torment Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Putting J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) clothes in her bed was clearly about sending a disturbing message and having some twisted fun.

In Tuesday’s new Y&R episode, December 11, Victoria points out that the person responsible had to be someone close. She notes that he or she was able to slip past security, which is a huge deal on the Newman ranch. Of course, J.T. was quite the security expert! Who better to beat the system than J.T. himself?

The Young and the Restless has backed Victoria, Nikki, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) into a corner. They’re in deep and there may be only one way for Y&R to get them out of this mess. Having J.T. show up alive and well would be an easy strategy. They can’t go down for J.T.’s murder if he wasn’t murdered at all.

However, we have to consider what J.T.’s return would look like. How would all the drama come to an end? J.T. could be thrown behind bars for attempting to kill Victor twice, but would that really be a satisfying conclusion? The Young and the Restless has really trashed the character. They’ve turned J.T. into an abusive monster and Luckinbill probably isn’t interested in any other lengthy arcs anyway.

In other words, there’s no need to let J.T. survive. In fact, it’ll be a massive letdown if J.T. just appears out of the blue and gets arrested. That’d probably be the worst possible way to conclude this storyline. Instead, Y&R may go for the double twist of J.T.’s alive, but not for long! J.T. could truly face a grim fate when this crazy journey to the truth wraps up.

If J.T. goes after Victoria, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) could be forced to kill his own father. The Young and the Restless fans could even see a cover-up crew member act in self-defense again. They might choose to handle it correctly this time around! We’d like to think they’ve learned their lesson after all this chaos, so Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) might be the deadly posse’s first call.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say this stunning story will heat up in the new year, so there are bound to be some big curveballs. We’ll give updates as other Y&R news comes in.
