The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 1, tease that Kyle (Michael Mealor) will stir up plenty of trouble. Jabot will advertise a new waterproof product on Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) show, so Kyle will demonstrate it by going for a swim in the pool. He’ll want to prove his temporary body art is in no danger of smudging.
Kyle will accomplish that mission, but he’ll lose his swimsuit in the process. He’ll be standing completely nude on camera, so Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will do her best to cover him up. This could lead to major drama with The Hilary Hour’s sponsors. You can bet Hilary will rip into Kyle and Billy (Jason Thompson) over all this.
There’s a chance this could be part of some sneaky publicity plan. Billy is determined to make Jabot fresh and young, so a hint of controversy involving a hot naked guy might not be so bad. Then again, this might be Kyle’s doing. He could make a bold move on his own and provoke Billy’s wrath in the process.
If this happens to be a legitimate mistake, Kyle apparently needs to buy tighter swimming trunks! Regardless, Kyle will definitely create some buzz around town. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will have to handle this, so it’ll be one of his first big tests as CEO. With any luck, Billy may be able to spin this incident into some sales.
Elsewhere, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will get into a heated argument with Abby (Melissa Ordway). After spotting Abby and Arturo’s (Jason Canela) lip lock on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Nikki will really be fuming. She’ll come after her stepdaughter on Friday and insist this romance needs to end right now.
Abby will understandably be confused by Nikki’s outrage. She won’t get why her budding relationship is so infuriating. Nikki will be forced to admit that she had a hot fling with Arturo, but that won’t do much to change Abby’s mind. Why should she back off? Nikki’s married and has no intention of being with Arturo anymore. There’s no reason for her to stand in the way of his happiness with Abby.
