The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 8, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will rise to the challenge. This is probably about Hilary’s decision to take in Shauna (Camryn Hamm). On Thursday’s episode, Hilary offers to let Shauna stay at Devon’s (Bryton James) penthouse. Since Hilary recently moved in, she wants to be there for Shauna and continue to mentor her.
Of course, actually living with Shauna could bring some pitfalls. Teens can be pretty unruly, especially on soaps. Plus, some Y&R fans suspect Shauna hasn’t been entirely honest. Hilary could have some shockers coming up, but she’ll focus on getting Shauna settled in for now.
This could put Shauna in the guest bedroom and perhaps allow Hilary to move in Devon’s room. That’s not Hilary’s main goal here, but it could be an unexpected benefit. Whatever the case, Hilary will concentrate on doing the right thing this Friday.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will face a startling threat. Someone will blackmail her, so this is certainly an interesting twist. If Nikki decides to push Victor (Eric Braeden) on the custody issue, he could be a blackmailer option. Victor tends to be in the loop on most Genoa City secrets. He could easily know the real story of J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) fate.
However, we might want to consider Sharon (Sharon Case) as a possibility. She’d do anything to make sure Nick (Joshua Morrow) wins the custody battle. Will she threaten to squeal on Nikki if she doesn’t fix this? Sharon could go down as well, but drastic times call for drastic measures. She may feel like this is the only path to support.
Elsewhere, Summer (Hunter King) will make additional waves for “Philly.” These lovebirds have sex constantly and they tend to do it anywhere they please. Now that Summer’s back in town, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) can’t just strip down anytime. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will get in their way, so they may need to have a talk about living arrangements.
