The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will have some big news for Devon (Bryton James). Unfortunately, she’ll have trouble delivering it. Devon isn’t too happy with Hilary at the moment, so he’ll refuse to make time for her.
The constant distractions will irk Hilary, but she’ll decide to improvise. Instead of telling Devon about her bun in the oven, she’ll just plop the pregnancy test on his desk. Devon will suspect Hilary might be lying at first, but she’ll assure him the test is legit.
Hilary will convince Devon that they’re indeed having a baby, but she won’t get the reaction she was hoping for. Devon’s disappointment will lead Hilary to make a startling suggestion. She’ll note that she was planning on being a single mom before Devon entered the agreement. Hilary will think Devon should just forget the whole thing and let her handle the parenting.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon won’t like the idea of leaving his child without a father. He’ll insist on keeping their deal in play, so Hilary might have some hope for the future. However, a shocker will hit later on this week’s new Y&R episodes, April 23-27. It could change the game and not in a good way!
Y&R fans can expect total heartbreak for Hilary. Will a trip to the doctor reveal she isn’t pregnant after all? Did she get a false positive? Will Hilary learn she’s already had a miscarriage? Regardless, it certainly sounds like there’ll no longer be a baby by Friday, April 27.
If that’s the case, Hilary will have some options. She could come clean to Devon and rely on his comfort to get through this. Hilary might hope that this could bring them together. However, there are sneakier options to consider as well. Hilary could lie and pretend her checkup went well. She could keep a pregnancy ruse going until she can figure out her next move.
Hilary could even try for a do-over by swiping Devon’s sample or getting inseminated by someone else. One way or another, Hilary will hope she can keep Devon by her side.
