The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) exit is rapidly approaching. The rushed writing’s on the wall! It’s clear that Y&R is zooming through this storyline as fast as they can. J.T. and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) relationship has been fast-tracked with the departure in mind.
How and when will J.T. be written out? The Young and the Restless has offered some huge clues. For starters, J.T. met up with Traci (Beth Maitland) to remember Colleen’s (Tammin Sursok) birthday. Some disgruntled fans were quick to complain on social media. They sent Y&R’s head writer and executive producer, Mal Young, messages about how Colleen’s birthday was in March, not February.
However, there may be a good reason for the early day of remembrance. It probably means J.T. won’t be around by the time March hits. That lines up with other departure predictions, so viewers should prepare to say goodbye soon.
The Colleen mention could be significant in other ways as well. J.T. had an emotional chat with Traci about how he wished he could’ve saved Colleen. That might tie in with his own storyline. J.T. may believe his death is drawing near. He could easily feel powerless to stop it.
J.T.’s been going ballistic a lot lately, which may be due to mood-altering meds and deep frustration. Obviously, J.T. doesn’t want to leave Victoria, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) and his other kids behind. He may be working through the anger stage of grief about his own looming demise.
J.T. would feel better if he’d let his guard down and fill Victoria in on all his issues. He needs her now more than ever! The Young and the Restless spoilers say J.T. will indeed confide in Victoria next week. He’ll pour his heart out and reveal some things that Victoria didn’t expect.
Perhaps Victoria will find out that J.T. won’t be around much longer. As for J.T.’s last scenes, he might die after a heart attack. Since they played up the Colleen angle before, they could revisit here. J.T. and Colleen would be reunited in death.
Y&R might’ve even cooked up a secret return. Tammin Sursok or a previous portrayer could come back to take J.T. into the light. General Hospital recently pulled something similar when a character suddenly died, so maybe The Young and the Restless will choose that option, too.
Regardless, J.T’s exit is sure to be difficult to watch! Let’s hope it’s bittersweet somehow. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in. Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news.
