The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will face more questions about the night of Victor’s (Eric Braeden) assault. He didn’t give Paul (Doug Davidson) the whole story and that’ll come back to bite him. Jack was drunk and furious shortly before Victor was attacked.
Arturo’s (Jason Canela) recap of the earlier altercation won’t help matters. Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) voicemail warning to Vic is another strike against Jack. The clues are pointing straight to Jack and things could get worse soon enough. Jack collected a few treasures from Victor’s home office. If Paul gets a warrant, he could easily discover the hard drive as well as the other items Jack stole.
It’s going to look like Jack assaulted Victor in a fit of vengeful rage and then robbed him. Of course, that’s only half true. Jack indeed let Victor suffer while he rummaged around, but at least he called for help eventually. He may have stolen from Victor, but he certainly didn’t shove him down the stairs.
Nevertheless, that probably won’t stop Paul from making an arrest in the near future. The Young and the Restless has set everything up, so they might as well put Jack behind bars. Jack will insist that he’s innocent, but he may have trouble convincing the cops and everyone else. The whole town knows that Jack and Victor are bitter enemies.
Dina’s (Marla Adams) paternity shocker may come out in the midst of this mess, so that’d be a double blow for Jack. He’ll feel like his life’s falling apart and there’s nothing he can do about it. However, there’s one person who could save Jack from this horrible nightmare. J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) knows what really happened. He’s the one responsible for Victor’s grave injuries.
Unfortunately, J.T. doesn’t seem to feel much guilt these days. He’s a real brute and he pretty much has no conscience anymore. Y&R spoilers suggest that J.T. will sit back in silence. He’ll most likely watch Jack take the blame and never even consider making a confession.
That should make Victoria even more enraged when the truth is inevitably revealed. J.T. will have plenty of opportunities to come clean in the coming weeks. As he passes them up, he’ll dig a deeper hole for himself. The Young and the Restless spoilers say J.T.’s in for a rude awakening down the road.
J.T. could get the book thrown at him for all this – if he even makes it out alive! He could face a grim fate sooner or later. For now, J.T. will let Jack face charges and try to slip under the radar. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in.
