The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily’s (Christel Khalil) world will come crashing down. Y&R fans know Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) keeping a huge secret from his wife. He convinced Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) to stay quiet about Lily running that red light, so major trouble’s brewing.
Lily caused the car accident, which means everything Hilary’s going through is partly her fault. Of course, Hilary shares a little blame here as well. After all, it takes two to argue. Instead of firing back, Hilary could’ve told Lily to shut up and concentrate on driving.
However, the fact remains that Lily was behind the wheel. It was her responsibility to keep her passengers safe and obey the rules of the road. Hilary’s currently paying the price for Lily’s mistake. She lost her baby and could soon lose her own life, too. Nate (Brooks Darnell) warned Devon (Bryton James) that Hilary wouldn’t make it, so that’s a shocker his whole family will have to accept.
Death or coma are Hilary’s only options at this point. Hilary wouldn’t have time to recover and leave town before her final airdate. She wouldn’t bail on Devon after their hospital wedding anyway. It’s clear that Y&R’s revving up the romance before “Hevon” is forced to end.
After Lily talks to the cops again, they may point the finger at her. Their investigation may reveal that she missed the red light and led to that truck smashing into them. Will Lily face charges over her error? That may be the least of her problems!
Devon will likely turn against Lily when he realizes she cost him his child and his true love. Plus, Lily will face tremendous guilt. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily’s going to suffer for her actions. Christel Khalil should get some gripping material out of all this. It’s easy to imagine Lily sinking into a deep depression and turning to the wrong source of comfort.
People never seem to learn, so cheating is always an option. However, Lily could turn to alcohol instead. Maybe The Young and the Restless could build right into an addiction story. If not, Lily could at least drift from Cane. Even if she doesn’t betray him, there’s bound to be some distance between them. As Lily struggles with the weight of what she’s done, she could really start to lose herself.
