The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Mariah and Tessa Leaving Genoa City?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) statements about leaving Genoa City together may prove true. But if they do exit and search for Crystal (Morgan Obenreder), fans should expect them back.

Summer adventures have been soap staples for generations. And so too may Messa, or Teriah if one prefers, explore the road in the near future. But since no real news exists about Grimes or Fairbanks exiting the cast, they likely aren’t to do so.

Mariah and Tessa were recently pushed together by Kyle (Michael Mealor), of all people. His intent was to forward a relationship that he sensed and then confirmed existed. Kyle’s plan worked and now both characters are becoming a couple.

Tessa was recently seen embracing a woman who appeared to look like her sister on the Genoa City Athletic rooftop. Mariah gave an instant, emotional knee-jerk reaction, as she’s prone to do, thinking that Tessa was linked to an unknown lady.

Y&R should consider leveling out those instances with Grimes’ character, as they increasingly don’t fit with the maturity Mariah is achieving. And responding to this critique by claiming that all related relationship issues creates an unnecessary excuse for these noted parts of the script.

Tessa has come to terms with who she is, which appears to mean bisexual. Mariah may also be the same, but Grimes’ character hasn’t fully explored this part of her existence. It could be that she’s simply drawn to women.

The above paragraph relates to why this part of Y&R’s developing storyline is somewhat noteworthy. However, those who proclaim themselves defenders of various created groups are actually attacking straw people. These perceived heroes see villains everywhere, in purposely unquantifiable numbers, and then encourage others to believe the same is true within their words. No, life isn’t as simple as those with agendas falsely choose to believe.

Let’s offer a hard counter to the above personality type, which isn’t an attempt to create a straw person debate, but is based on available ubiquitous comments in the digital world. Mariah and Tessa are two good souls who share similarly rough backgrounds. This scribe feels compassion for both of them and appreciates their common interest in each other.

As far as who any person is drawn to, or why that feeling is true, well, each individual soul would only and always be the expert on her, or his own life. There is no logical response to the last declarative statement, as that presented truth wasn’t invented for this feature. Certain truths exist and aren’t malleable, as moral relativists purposely opt toward.

Thoughtful soap fans want to see good stories. Mariah and Tessa’s tale is that. End of story and its also their beginning. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless. Check back regularly for Y&R spoilers and news!
