The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) trip could have unintended consequences. In Thursday’s episode, Victoria nearly makes a confession. She’s eventually convinced to keep quiet and get out of town for a while with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).
That’ll leave Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to hold down the cover-up fort. They’ll do their best to keep the secret under wraps, but Y&R fans should expect some bumps in the road. For starters, Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) suspicions will grow stronger. As he works to find out what’s up with Sharon, she’ll try to keep his mind on passion. They’ll share a steamy reunion soon enough.
“Shick’s” reconnection will indeed distract Nick, but it could also distract Sharon. That’s not a good thing right now. Sharon needs to stay on guard and try to prevent any cracks in the plan. The Young and the Restless spoilers say a new threat’s about to emerge, so Sharon will certainly have a lot on her plate.
After Nick gives a televised speech about the J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) search, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will suddenly remember a party clue. She’ll recall hearing a man’s voice that night, so she could easily assume it was J.T. What will Mariah do with that information? She may decide to fill Sharon in and ask what really happened upstairs.
Mariah was too drunk to remember much, so Sharon may try to fudge the details. However, Mariah knows her mother quite well. She’ll probably be able to see right through Sharon’s lies. Plus, Mariah will likely recall more info as time goes on. There could be several memory flashes that help her put together a deadly story.
Will Mariah confront Sharon about J.T.’s disappearance? Will she suspect J.T. was killed and dumped? This could add another layer of pressure and bring up guilt for Sharon again. Mariah may think it’d be better to come forward since Nikki was defending Victoria. The partygoers really made a mess of things that night!
This alliance works best with all four women in Genoa City. When one almost breaks, the others can help preserve the pact. Now only Nikki will be left to stop Sharon, so this situation could grow dire. There’s always a chance that Mariah could come forward on her own, too.
