The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that one CBS soap alum has something to celebrate. When Mishael Morgan left the role of Hilary behind, many Y&R fans were crushed. Hilary was killed off along with her unborn child, so her exit was a real downer!
Fortunately, things took a much happier turn in Morgan’s real life. She was actually pregnant when she departed the show, so we knew an adorable little one would arrive eventually. The big moment finally came on Thursday morning, November 8. After Morgan gave birth and had a chance to settle in with her newborn, she shared the news on social media and posted some fantastic pics.
On Instagram, Morgan made her announcement and expressed all her excitement. She gushed, “My family got a little bigger this morning!!! It is with a full heart that I welcome my little bundle of joy to the world! We are all wrapped around your little finger already, Naliyah.”
Morgan revealed that her new daughter came right on time, so it sounds like she was ready and waiting. She also included a hashtag about giving birth at home. It seems Morgan wanted the relaxed atmosphere for this tough task. Bringing a baby into the world is obviously no easy feat, but a home birth helped Morgan feel more comfortable.
As a side note, Morgan’s really rocking the post-pregnancy glow! She looks lovely in the family photo she posted. Morgan’s young son also looks happy in the role of big brother. The whole fam seems tickled pink over little Naliyah, who’s certainly adorable.
The Young and the Restless fans were quick to comment on Morgan’s pics and caption. Everyone was glad the delivery went well. Mom and baby are doing just fine, so that’s great to hear. Loads of viewers offered words of congratulations and well wishes for the future. Of course, plenty of people pointed out they miss Morgan on Y&R, too.
Hilary’s exit definitely left a void on the show, but who knows what the future holds? There’s always a chance Hilary’s spirit could return down the road. Devon (Bryton James) is still struggling, so he could probably use a tiny nudge from his dead wife. Maybe one day they can have a ghostly reunion and get another dose of closure.
For now, Morgan seems content to enjoy the latest addition to her family. Congrats to this new mom!
