The Young and the Restless spoilers are pleased to report that one of Y&R’s fan favorites who recently left the show is showing that she is a star. Many Y&R fans were devastated when Mishael Morgan departed the role of Hilary Curtis Hamilton on the CBS soap earlier this year. Hilary had issues, but at heart she was a lovable character and she’s been missed by Y&R fans since her untimely on-screen death.
If you’ve been missing Hilary, listen up. You have the chance to see Mishael Morgan in an exciting new role. She’ll be appearing in the upcoming TV movie titled “Hometown Holiday,” which is in post-production and is scheduled for release sometime this year.
The movie is based on a popular romance novel written by Caro Carson titled “The Maverick’s Holiday Masquerade.” The story takes place in the fictional town of Rust Creek Falls and revolves around main characters Kristen and Ryan. Ryan, a cowboy, is keeping a big secret about his true identity from Kristen and that secret may stand in the way of their growing romance.
Mishael Morgan portrays a character named Amber in the movie. There’s no information yet on her character’s story or relationship with main characters Kristen and Ryan, but Morgan is sure to delight fans. Her portrayal of Hilary on Y&R was fantastic and full of attitude and spark. We’ll see just how similar or different “Amber” is to Hilary!
Morgan will be in good company in “Hometown Holiday.” Other members of the cast include Kevin McGarry, Stephen Huszar, Sarah Troyer, and Andy Yu.
