The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, December 24, tease that it’ll be a somber Christmas Eve in Genoa City. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will still be in bad shape at the hospital, so her loved ones will fear a farewell’s looming. They’ll hate the idea of saying goodbye to Nikki, but Nate (Brooks Darnell) will feel like it’d take a miracle for her to recover.
Of course, that’s exactly what the Newmans will hope for. They’ll gather around Nikki’s hospital bed and pray for a change in her condition. Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) should be especially torn apart by all this.
He certainly didn’t mean to hit Nikki, but the fact is he did and now he’s living with this horrible secret. Reed’s guilt will take a toll as Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) struggle.
Many GC residents won’t feel like celebrating the holidays, but Sharon (Sharon Case) will think some Christmas cheer is necessary. She’ll decide to throw a small party and try to keep everyone in good spirits.
It looks like Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will attend this gathering with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), so maybe Sharon will at least learn to tolerate their relationship status.
Sharon recently argued that she’d never change her mind about Tessa. On a soap, that kind of declaration means she’ll definitely shift her opinion. It’s like when Tessa reassured Mariah about the “Shick” wedding and insisted Mariah could never do anything to mess it up! “Never” usually means something will absolutely happen, so Sharon should soften toward Tessa down the road.
Back at the hospital, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will have a vivid dream. She’ll imagine Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is appearing to her and asking her to come back to her family. Will Victor return in the flesh, too? It’s possible he’ll speak to Nikki at her bedside and prompt this vision of him.
Then again, Victor might remain in dream form for now. Either way, Y&R fans will be glad to see Victor pop back up.
