The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, January 22, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will get some infuriating news. He won’t be happy when he learns J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) moving in with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). At Victoria’s place, Billy will object to their renewed romance. He’ll suggest that it didn’t work before and it won’t work now.
Victoria will hint that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that Billy seems a bit jealous. She’ll eventually shut down Billy’s complaints and contend that she’s sure about this. Afterward, Victoria and J.T. will cozy up to each other. She’ll feel like everything’s going to be just fine as long as he’s by her side.
Later, J.T. will open up a bottle of prescription pills and take some with his wine. Uh-oh. J.T. appears to be hiding a secret illness. Speaking of secrets, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will still be upset over hers being put into Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) song. Hilary (Mishael Morgan), on the other hand, will love the drama. She’ll note that the show’s ratings have skyrocketed!
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) and Noah (Robert Adamson) will want to hear Tessa’s side of the story. She’ll fib that the lyrics are her own, so they’ll back her up. Y&R spoilers say Devon will track Mariah down to smooth things over. He’ll wonder if maybe Mariah’s overreacted to some similarities. When Devon asks to a look at the journal entries, Mariah will refuse to hand it over.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will beg Devon to trust her and just delete the recording. She won’t want the song to be released. Over with Noah, he’ll offer Tessa reassurance. She’s digging an even deeper hole for herself with all these lies. Tessa will apologize to Mariah eventually, but it may be too little, too late. It’s clear that she’s being pretty selfish right now!
Across town, the Abbotts will decide to leave Dina (Marla Adams) out of the loop on Graham’s (Max Shippee) fate. She won’t remember anything about what just happened and she’d forget if they reminded her. When Abby (Melissa Ordway) calls from Paris, she’ll urge Dina to come visit her. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will decide that might be the best option right now.
Traci (Beth Maitland) will note that she can travel with Dina and make sure she’s OK. Ashley and Jack will bid Dina a tough farewell. They’ll worry that their mother won’t recall who they are when she returns home.
Once Traci and Dina head off, Ashley and Jack will focus on the arbitration. They still need to sort out the future of Jabot, but things could get a bit nasty.
