The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will stop at nothing to get Christian (Jamie and Alister Tobias) out of Victor’s (Eric Braden) grip and back home where he belongs. Christian means the world to Nick, and Nick vowed to be ruthless and devious in his fight against Victor.
But despite his threats to fight his father head-on, we’ve seen Nick focus mainly on his relationship with Sharon (Sharon Case). Even though his relationship with Sharon has been a liability for him in the custody battle, Nick decided to pop the question and make Sharon his fiancé.
You’d think this would be the last thing Nick would do, since the judge was so concerned about Sharon’s mental health history and presence in the home.
But Nick may have a larger plan at work, and his engagement to Sharon may be part of his plot to ultimately take Victor down and get Christian back. In fact, it’s possible that Nick is simultaneously messing with Victor by (a) luring Victor into a false sense of security by getting engaged to Sharon, and (b) sabotaging Newman Enterprises to ultimately make Victor lose the custody hearing.
That’s right, Nick may be the saboteur who’s sending threatening voice messages and boxes of confidential Newman documents to Victoria (Amelia Heinle). The point? Take down Newman Enterprises to destroy Victor, but more importantly to demonstrate that Christian is in danger living with Victor.
If Victor’s under threat, then it stands to reason that Christian may be unsafe in Victor’s home. Y&R spoilers say that Victor will go so far as to hire a bodyguard, so he must feel pretty threatened!
Nick would end up looking squeaky clean compared to dirty Victor who needs a bodyguard. Nick could portray Victor as a cold, calculating business mogul who has a history of making dangerous enemies. This would surely deflect the judge’s attention from Sharon’s history of problems.
Nick could argue that Sharon’s difficulties are in the past and that he and Sharon as a married couple are the more stable and safe choice for Christian.
If Nick is the saboteur, then he’s pretty sneaky and somehow got access to J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) credit card number, since the boxes of documents that were sent to Newman Enterprises were paid for with J.T.’s credit card, and he’d have to have someone working with him.
But that wouldn’t be too hard to pull off if one has connections, like Nick surely does. Nick said he’d be devious, and this plan, which involves terrorizing his own sister, would be pretty devious!
Do you think Nick is the Newman saboteur? If so, will his plan work to get Christian back? Stick with the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news.
