The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) sneaky plan could have shocking consequences. In Thursday’s episode, Victor kidnaps Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) from the hospital to protect her. He doesn’t know Reed Hellstrom’s (Tristan Leak Leabu) to blame for the hit-and-run, so he takes drastic action to keep Nikki safe.
Of course, a plot like this is bound to bring some complicated drama. Victor is already the prime suspect in the J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) murder investigation. The police will use even more of their resources to find Nikki, so Victor’s freedom will be at stake.
However, that’s not the only reason this scheme is risky. Nikki’s partners in crime will be freaking out, which could bring some bad decisions. Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) were already on edge over Nikki being run down. During all this abduction mayhem, some of the cover-up crew members could be tempted to come clean.
Everything has spiraled out of control, so someone could easily crack under the pressure. That doesn’t necessary mean confessing to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) or anyone else at the GCPD. Sharon, Victoria and Phyllis all have people in their lives that they lean on or have a connection to. One of them could end up blurting out the truth to somebody close to the situation.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is a good option here. Sharon was tempted to come clean to Nick about the cover-up before the wedding fiasco. It’s not to late for her to tell Nick the truth. Sharon might feel like Nick deserves all the facts as he considers the threat against Nikki. She could trust that he’d protect her along with his mother and sister.
Then again, Victoria or Phyllis could potentially confess to Nick. Since he’s so connected to all parties involved, there are plenty of ways for Nick to hear the whole J.T. story. Of course, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has become Victoria’s rock lately. She could blab to him in a moment of weakness and trust in his protection, too. Billy would surely understand the extenuating circumstances.
Whatever the case, the pressure will rise and that means bad news for this deadly Y&R posse. The Young and the Restless spoilers say things could become strained within the group. Will one of them crack and cause more chaos? Will Victor’s kidnapping plot set off a startling chain reaction?
