The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) could have a few tricks up her sleeve. After another bonding session with Billy (Jason Thompson) at work, they’ll grow closer once more. Billy will feel that familiar spark and wonder if there’s still some love left in the tank.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) seemed concerned about Billy wavering on their takedown plan and he was right to worry. Y&R fans know Phyllis is Billy’s weak spot. He’ll decide he might’ve made a mistake by throwing their relationship away, so he’ll make his move. Billy will hope that maybe reconciliation is possible.
Mal Young, Y&R’s head writer and executive producer, weighed in on Billy’s thoughts in an interview with Soap Opera Digest. He noted that “their chemistry is hard for him to ignore and he is surprised to feel a connection to Phyllis he thought was long gone.”
Billy really should’ve let himself cool down instead of hopping in bed with Phyllis’ daughter right away. That Summer (Hunter King) hookup could still cost him! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will have a surprising reponse to Billy’s reunion attempt. She’ll lie to Nick (Joshua Morrow) about her secret rendezvous with Billy, but things may not be as they seem.
Could this all be a setup? Will Phyllis assume Billy is playing her and take her shot at revenge? Mal Young offered some hints about that, too. “Her reaction to his change of heart will be…wild and unexpected. Once again, Phyllis will shock Billy in a way he never thought was possible.”
If Phyllis just jumped back in the sack with Billy, that’d be completely expected. Phyllis is a sex-crazed cheater, so why wouldn’t she make love to Billy behind Nick’s back? Turning Billy down flat would be equally acceptable. No one would be surprised if Phyllis told Billy off considering everything that went down.
So what would be a surprising reaction? Perhaps Phyllis will make Billy think there’s still a chance for them. She could take him right to the edge of it before ripping it all away. Phyllis still deserves to get some payback over the one-night stand with Summer, so this is her big opportunity.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will be cozying up to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) this Christmas. It makes sense that Phyllis will ultimately reject Billy and convince him to pursue another ex instead. Y&R fans will see some stunning scenes play out in the coming weeks.
