The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) bond will grow stronger. Now that they’re living under the same roof, there’s just no way to avoid a deeper connection. Sharon and Nick could quickly fall for each other again under these circumstances. They’re already sharing laughs, memories and hugs as close roomies.
Of course, this is exactly what Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was afraid of. She’ll continue to believe Sharon will hurt Nick in the end. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will vent to Billy (Jason Thompson), but he won’t change his mind about her obsession. Billy doesn’t think this is healthy and he’s probably battling a bit of jealousy. Why should Phyllis be this involved in her ex’s love life?
Unfortunately, Phyllis won’t let go of her plan to tear Nick and Sharon apart. It looks like she’ll find a way to sabotage their reunion soon enough. Perhaps Phyllis will overhear something she can use against Sharon. She could also stir the pot by highlighting their differences. Phyllis just wants to do anything in her power to cause conflict. She’ll hope she can convince Nick to move out eventually.
Phyllis could succeed in causing some hostility initially, but you can bet it’ll backfire later. For starters, there’s a chance the anger will spark some sexy chemistry. Phyllis could inadvertently reignite Nick and Sharon’s romance. We all know how Y&R characters can be drawn to each other in intense moments like that. Sometimes rage can turn into passion, so Phyllis may be making a huge mistake.
Phyllis may feel the need to rev up her scheming if the first round flops. That could lead to drama in her own relationship. Billy isn’t going to be happy if he finds out Phyllis is going against his wishes. If Phyllis tries to seduce Nick or goes for some other crazy plot, that’ll really drive Billy up the wall.
It sounds like Phyllis could face failure as well as a potential breakup. By sabotaging Sharon and Nick’s relationship, she’ll actually be sabotaging herself.
