The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) could be headed for trouble. Y&R fans know how things usually go with this character. Sharon cruises along just fine for a while, but she tends to lose control sooner or later. She suffers from bipolar disorder, so the threat of her going off the rails is always right under the surface.
Sharon can control her symptoms with the proper medications, but she’s been known to stop taking them when the story calls for it. Since Sharon’s been under a lot of stress lately, it’s easy to see how she might be driven to the edge. Unfortunately, even more stress should start piling up soon. Let’s consider what Sharon’s been through as well as what’s ahead for her.
Sharon was devastated when “Sully” turned out to be Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). It brought plenty of heartache when she had to hand him over to Nick (Joshua Morrow). After that, Dylan (Steve Burton) entered the witness protection program and added to her suffering.
Sharon got her life back on track eventually, but Scott (Daniel Hall) managed to blow everything up by betraying her with Abby (Melissa Ordway). She also had all the stressful sex ring drama to deal with. Next, there was the deadly J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) cover-up and the recent custody battle. Nick made things even worse by impersonating J.T. and rocking Sharon to the core.
How much more can Sharon take? Y&R always portrays Nick as the great love of Sharon’s life. She’s going to be crushed when she learns he slept with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Sharon may be able to cope with that blow, but what about the next one? The Young and the Restless spoilers claim that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will land in grave danger by trying to help Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). That could certainly take a toll on Sharon.
Finally, we’ve got the looming pressure from Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Phyllis, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Sharon could all end up on trial. If Sharon snaps at that point, it might work out in her favor. At least maybe she could avoid prison and land in a mental institution.
