The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Summer (Hunter King) will soon face rejection from all sides. She’s been playing dangerous games with both Billy (Jason Thompson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) for a while now, and things are finally going to start catching up with her. In fact, neither her relationship with Billy nor Kyle will go as she planned, and she’s going to be confused, hurt, and alone.
Let’s start with Billy. Summer started coming onto Billy from nearly the moment she came back to Genoa City. She basically threw herself at him, despite his repeated rejections and pleas for her to back off. Over time, she started to view him as a conquest-to-be and she set her sights on getting him into bed, just for sport. She even bet Kyle that she could bed him by a certain date, something that she didn’t achieve.
But then Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy’s relationship blew up. Phyllis cheated on Billy, and Billy found out about it, then he slept with Summer purely out of revenge. But by then, Summer had started developing real feelings for Billy, and their night together actually meant something to her. Now Summer’s dying for Billy to come back from rehab so the two of them can start a real relationship together.
But Y&R spoilers say that Summer will be in for a rude awakening. She’ll find out pretty quickly once Billy returns that she was nothing more than a vehicle for Billy to hurt Phyllis and Nick (Joshua Morrow). Billy will give it to her straight, that she was simply sex to him and nothing more. Summer will be devastated, and she’ll probably feel used.
That’s where Kyle comes in. Summer will likely go running to Kyle for comfort, but as viewers know, Kyle has moved on to a new relationship with Lola (Sasha Calle) and doesn’t want much to do with Summer anymore. And since Summer and Lola didn’t start things out on the right foot, Lola probably won’t want Kyle hanging around with Summer, either. Kyle just might tell Summer to take a hike.
This will make Summer doubly rejected and alone. And who’s she going to turn to for support? She’ll have completely alienated Phyllis and Nick by (a) telling Mariah (Camryn Grimes) about their affair, and (b) sleeping with Billy, so she won’t really have anyone to talk to. She’ll be alone and miserable.
