The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Team Devon or Team Lily – Who Truly Deserves Support and Sympathy?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will fear the worst as her sentencing draws near. She’s terrified about potentially spending 20 years behind bars, but the family drama is almost as bad. Lily’s never seen Devon this angry before. She hates that she’s the cause of his pain, so she’ll cling to the hope that she can repair the damage.

Lily knows she can’t undo her mistakes, but she’d love to inch toward a better place with Devon. If he could stop loathing her with every fiber of his being, that’d be a nice start. Lily and Devon used to be quite close, so that’s making all of this even more difficult. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and her baby weren’t the only deaths in that accident. Devon and Lily’s relationship died, too.

Next week, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will once again reach out to Devon. She’ll hope he can calm down and somehow find a way to forgive her. Lily doesn’t expect this to happen overnight, but she can’t give up on their bond. Her connection with Devon means too much to her.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) will remain firmly in Lily’s corner, so he’ll undoubtedly make the tension even worse. Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Nate (Brooks Darnell) are siding with Lily as well. That’s undoubtedly adding to Devon’s sorrow. His loved ones seem to care more about Lily’s suffering than his own. In Devon’s mind, it’s like they’re forgetting that Hilary and her unborn child paid with their lives.

The Young and the Restless fans seem divided in this heated Y&R battle. Lily didn’t intentionally kill Hilary and her kid, but how important are her intentions? She did the crime, so should she do the time? It’s easy to sympathize with Devon and understand why he’d want justice. Lily was WAY out of line that day.

At the same time, Lily’s never been so remorseful in all her life. She’ll have to live with the weight of this guilt forever. Is it fair for Devon to destroy another family over something that can’t be changed? Won’t he mainly be punishing Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Sam?

There are some strong opinions out there, so we want to know where you stand on the issue. Are you “Team Devon” or are you siding with Lily and her supporters?
