The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Noah (Robert Adamson) will get some shocking news this Thursday, January 24. Once she’s backed into a corner, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will reluctantly hand over her journal. She’ll hate hurting Noah, but she’ll have to stand her ground on this.
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has really hit a new low. It’s not her fault she didn’t want to pursue a romance with Mariah, but she needed to respect Mariah’s decision cut off the friendship. Instead, Tessa wouldn’t let it go and now she’s using Mariah’s deepest thoughts for profit.
To make matters worse, Tessa lied about it. Devon (Bryton James) and Noah immediately took Tessa’s side thanks to her declaration of innocence. Things aren’t looking good for the former street performer. She’s probably about to get dumped in more ways than one!
For starters, Noah will realize Tessa deceived him about her kiss with Mariah. He’ll also find out she hasn’t been honest about their ongoing tension. Noah will undoubtedly feel deeply betrayed. Mariah’s actions will sting as well, but part of Noah may still want to protect her. He’ll likely rip into Tessa for stealing his sister’s journal and lying to his face about it.
Since Tessa already stole a gun from Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), the latest incident will shatter what little trust is left. Noah could easily wash his hands of Tessa after this. He might break up with her and insist that she needs to steer clear of his family. Y&R spoilers say Noah will certainly be devastated and furious.
Tessa will have to face Devon’s wrath, too. She could lose her recording contract for plagiarizing Mariah’s journal entries. Devon may argue that Tessa’s more trouble than she’s worth. He warned that he’d have to turn to other artists if Tessa couldn’t provide a hit. Since Mariah wrote most of this song, Tessa obviously wasn’t up to the task.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Shanica Knowles is headed to the CBS soap as Simone in February. She’ll play a new artist that Devon becomes interested in signing. It sounds like Tessa’s replacement is already lined up.
When Tessa’s life suddenly falls apart, will she go crawling back to Mariah? Will she suggest that they can be together now? If so, Mariah should tell Tessa to get lost! It’s possible that Tessa will earn Mariah’s forgiveness eventually, but this could just as easily be Tessa’s exit storyline.
