The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Thursday, January 18, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will discover Graham’s (Max Shipee) dying body. Ash will leap into action and start CPR while Jack calls for an ambulance. After Graham’s rushed to the hospital, Ashley and Jack will wonder about his chances of pulling through. They’ll soon rush off to look for Dina (Marla Adams).
At the police station, a confused Dina will confess to the murder of Brent Davis. Once Ashley arrives with Jack, she’ll face questions from Paul (Doug Davidson). He’ll be in the loop on what happened to Graham. Paul will note that Ashley’s fingerprints were on the hypodermic needle. She’ll explain how Graham framed her before heading to the hospital with Jack, Dina and Paul.
Graham’s doctor will reveal that there’s no hope for him. The staff needs the next of kin’s consent to take Graham off life support. As Graham’s wife, Dina will give them the green light. Graham’s twisted schemes finally caught up with him!
At the Chancellor mansion, Esther (Kate Linder) will lash out at Hilary (Mishael Morgan). She’ll be reluctant to let Hilary anywhere near Sam. Hilary will defend her friendship with Cane (Daniel Goddard). She’ll insist that she’s rooting for Cane and Lily (Christel Khalil) to repair their marriage. Since Esther has a doctor’s appointment, she’ll agree to let Hilary watch Sam while she’s gone.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane and Lily will reconnect in Paris. They’ll mull over various memories in bed together. When talk turns to their family, Cane will ask if Lily can accept Sam as part of it. She’ll promise that she can and they’ll agree to make this work.
Back with Hilary, she’ll take Sam over to Crimson Lights. When she spots Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), the ladies will chat about babies and Hilary will have a look of longing in her eyes. A little later, Hilary will tell Phyllis that she’s made a decision. She’ll want to have a little one of her own. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will also search the coffeehouse for her journal, but she won’t have any luck.
That’s because Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will be using it for inspiration across town. She’ll give Devon (Bryton James) updates on her new song, but she’ll still be pondering ideas for the hook. Devon will hate to put extra pressure on Tessa, but he has a business to run.
After Devon leaves, Tessa will finish up her potential hit. Y&R spoilers say Devon will be called over to hear it. He’ll push Mariah to come along, but she’ll make up an excuse. At the studio, Tessa’s song will express the situation that Mariah’s been dealing with. It’ll be all about Mariah’s deepest feelings, so this is sure to spell trouble.
