The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, March 8, tease that J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) and Victor (Eric Braeden) will face off. Despite J.T.’s complaints, Victor will insist that he needs someone objective on the investigation. J.T. will snap that if Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was up to something, she would’ve filled him in. They’ll continue to argue, but Victor’s mind will be made up.
Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will realize Victoria has something to hide. She’ll wonder what’s up, but Victoria will choose to leave her mom out of the loop. Nikki will question Victoria’s decision to hide things from J.T. She’ll suggest that it’s better to be allies in a relationship, but Victoria will think she knows what she’s doing.
Across town, Jack (Peter Bergman) will return home with Dina (Marla Adams) and Abby (Melissa Ordway). After some warm greetings, Dina will have an upsetting outburst. She’ll feel like Ashley’s trying to harm her, so that’ll be a tough blow for the Abbott clan. They’ll realize Dina needs more care as her mental state declines.
Ashley will also rip into Jack for setting her up with Victoria. She’ll be completely convinced of Jack’s guilt, so she’ll pass the news along to Abby. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will push Victoria’s buttons later. She’ll mention that Victor approved her return to Genoa City and drop a hint about Ashley being framed.
Afterward, Abby will meet back up with Jack and vow to prove Ashley’s innocence. At home, Lily (Christel Khalil) will tell Cane (Daniel Goddard) about her job search. She’ll plan to find another position right away. When Cane stops by Newman Enterprises to gather some of Lily’s stuff, Victoria will express remorse for what went down.
Cane will warn Victoria that Lily’s had enough. She won’t be returning to Newman, so Victoria will have to seek help elsewhere. At the athletic club, Jack will hear about Lily quitting and invite her to rejoin him at Jabot. Lily will be willing to mull over that opportunity, but she’ll score a week-long modeling gig in New York for now.
Later, Victor will grill Jack about the leaked Newman info. He’ll try to figure out if Jack assisted Victoria or Ashley. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack won’t offer any hints. He’ll suggest that Victor’s going to drag his business down on his own.
Finally, Victor will corner J.T. and Victoria to drop a Y&R bomb. He’ll believe he knows who’s been in cahoots with Jack. Since Billy (Jason Thompson) will rush to Ashley’s defense on Friday, perhaps that means Victor will get it wrong this time.
