The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Tuesday, December 25, tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will reassure Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter). He’ll ask her to attend a Christmas party at Crimson Lights and admit that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is also his ex. Kerry will be a bit concerned by all of Jack’s former flames, but he’ll contend that she’s the only woman he wants romantically.
Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will get updates on the present Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) gave Sharon. She’ll think there seems to be more than friendship between them, but Sharon will deny it. Soon after, Rey will show up with Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez). When Mia steps away with Mariah, Rey will let Sharon know that any anger he had toward his wife is now gone.
Afterward, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will arrive at Mariah’s request. Mariah will defend Tessa’s presence to Sharon, but she’ll get some troubling news later. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tessa will mention going to see Crystal Porter (Morgan Obenreder) for Christmas. A suspicious Mariah will keep prodding until Tessa suggests she wants to leave for good.
Tessa will feel guilty about causing so much strife for Mariah and Sharon. She’ll think it’s best if she’s not around, but Mariah will refuse to lose her. After Sharon promises Tessa that they can coexist peacefully, Tessa will vow to stay. She’ll kiss Mariah on the coffeehouse patio while the party continues in the main dining area.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will join the bash briefly while Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) talks to his dad at the hospital. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will worry about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) continued absence as they await any news. Y&R spoilers say tings will continue to look grim in Genoa City.
Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) will push Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to keep fighting. She’ll encourage Nikki to get better and prove Victor was set up. Back with Nick, he’ll receive some terrible updates from Dr. Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell). Nick will be advised to gather the family to say their goodbyes. Nate won’t think Nikki can last much longer.
Once Victoria gets the call, she’ll fill everyone in at the party. Victoria will snap at Rey for not tracking down the hit-and-run driver yet, but he’ll insist that justice will be served. While several of Nikki’s loved ones visit her, Mariah and Tessa will put together a candlelight vigil. They’ll hope to give everyone a little hope on this somber night.
In Nikki’s hospital room, Noah will gather with Sharon and Nick. They’ll speak to Nikki before she squeezes Noah’s hand. Nate will argue that it was an involuntary movement, but we all know Nikki’s recovery is looming. As for Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu), he’ll decide to confess to running down Nikki. Reed will pull Rey aside so he can make his admission, but it looks like his plan will hit a snag.
Finally, Victor will return in the flesh! The Young and the Restless spoilers say he’ll secretly appear in Nikki’s room for sweet reunion. Victor will take his wife’s hand and wish her a merry Christmas. His comeback will undoubtedly give Nikki the strength she needs to survive.
