The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 27, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will be desperate for dirt. She’ll wish she had some dark secret to hold over Sharon’s (Sharon Case) head. Phyllis will just want to protect Nick (Joshua Morrow) from the painful truth.
Billy (Jason Thompson) will point out that everyone already knows about Sharon’s horrible past. He won’t think blackmail is a real solution. Later, Victor (Eric Braeden) will arrive to ask a favor. He’ll need help convincing Nick that Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) needs his grandpa around.
Of course, Billy will think Victor’s request seems more like an order. He’ll suggest that Victor doesn’t have any power in this situation. Victor will note that he came through for Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) by returning the money. He’ll hope that’s enough to get Phyllis on board.
Across town, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will urge Nick to move out of Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place. She’ll think he should take Christian back to the tack house, but Nick will want to stay put. Afterward, Nick will find Phyllis and Sharon bickering at Crimson Lights. He’ll wonder what the trouble is, but he won’t like the answer.
Despite Phyllis’ attempt to shut her up, Sharon will blurt out that Christian isn’t Nick’s son. She’ll reveal that the boy’s biological father is Adam (Justin Hartley). Nick will seek confirmation on Wednesday, February 28, and that’s when the true fallout will begin.
In the meantime, J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) will get crushing news. He’ll be furious when some express mail arrives from Mac (Kelly Kruger). She’ll be seeking full custody of the kids, but J.T. will vow to fight her on this. He’ll believe Mac’s mad because he jumped right into another relationship.
After J.T. stomps off, Victoria will talk to Reed about the situation. He’ll admit this isn’t a big shocker to him. When Victoria wonders why, Y&R spoilers state that Reed won’t elaborate. He’ll just contend that he was always an outsider in the family.
At the athletic club, Billy will give J.T. updates on his troubles with Phyllis. He’ll grumble about Phyllis being too involved in all the Chelsea drama. J.T. will snap that Billy needs to be a man and take care of it. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will object to J.T.’s attitude. He’ll sense that something’s up with him, so J.T. will mention the custody battle.
Billy won’t understand why Mac would take things that far. He’ll rub J.T. the wrong way by suggesting that Mac was provoked. At home, Victoria will leave Mac a voicemail. She’ll want to have a serious conversation and work all this out.
Once J.T. gets back, he’ll be irked to hear about Victoria and Reed’s discussion. J.T. will indicate this doesn’t concern Reed or even Victoria. He’ll snarl that she can’t make decisions like that without him. It sounds like J.T.’s anger problems are getting worse!
