The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 1, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be on the hot seat. Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will go after Victor hard over all the evidence against him.
As if the planted gun and bloody shirt weren’t enough, Victor tacked on the kidnapping drama and roped Dr. Nate Hastings (Brooks Darnell) into the chaos.
Of course, Victor was just trying to protect Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) from a potentially deadly threat. He doesn’t know that Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) was the hit-and-run driver, so he naturally assumed she could’ve been targeted. Victor won’t regret trying to protect Nikki, but this definitely isn’t how he wanted things to turn out.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will remain heavily involved in the Newman clan’s nightmare. He’ll be convinced that Victor’s guilty of J.T. Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder.
Christine will believe that as well. The Young and the Restless fans recall that J.T. was working undercover for the GCPD trying to get evidence against Victor, She’s been hoping to take Victor down for good, so she’ll feel like she’s finally found the way.
At some point this week on a new The Young and the Restless episode, December 31 – January 4, Christine will announce that a decision has been made. She’ll insist that Victor’s being charged with J.T.’s murder, so that’ll leave Nikki in a panic. She’ll think she needs to confess the whole truth and get Victor off the hook, but this Y&R plan could come with some shockers.
Speaking of shockers, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will create a big one. The Young and the Restless spoilers say they’ll have a serious confrontation about Reed’s hit-and-run accident.
Victoria will have a real issue with Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) having too much to drink and letting Reed behind the wheel.
Cane and Victoria will argue about their sons’ choices before taking personal jabs. Victoria will view Cane as a pathetic coward and he’ll suggest she’ll never find anyone to love her. Surprisingly, that’ll somehow ignite a wave of desire for Victoria and Cane. A kiss between them will bring a pact to never speak of this EVER again.
Back with Nate, he’ll be put to the test. Christine may offer some kind of deal if Nate will cooperate with the GCPD in Victor’s takedown. She really wants this to be a slam dunk. Nate could face charges over the abduction fiasco or at least lose his job, so Christine would have some leverage.
Christine might suggest she could make this go away for Nate. However, turning against Victor sounds like a terrible idea – no matter what kind of deal’s up for grabs!
It’s just not worth it when you could face Victor’s wrath. Nate’s a pretty loyal guy anyway, so he may hope things will just work themselves out.
