The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 23, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will urge Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to figure out the song situation. If Tessa can’t work things out with Mariah (Camryn Grimes), it could bring some terrible PR. Tessa will track down Mariah to talk through this. She’ll be sorry about stealing the journal, but she just had to know what was in Mariah’s head.
Tessa will admit that Mariah’s thoughts were just like her own, but she’ll refuse to budge on being an item. As Mariah grows increasingly frustrated, Tessa will beg her to let the song be released. She won’t want Mariah to blow this for her. The Young and the Restless spoilers say a fed-up Mariah will stomp over to Devon’s office. She’ll threaten to sue if Devon actually puts this song out.
After getting updates from Mariah, Sharon (Sharon Case) will be just as angry. When she spots Tessa later, she’ll offer a stern warning. Sharon will be keeping a close eye on Tessa from now on. She won’t want to see Mariah in any more pain.
At the athletic club, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will make a phone call to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She’ll be upset since Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) missed his community service appointment. J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) will eventually locate Reed at the coffeehouse. He’ll scold his son before having a chat with Sharon. She’ll hope that everything will settle down between Reed and his parents soon.
Afterward, J.T. and Victoria will lecture Reed about his behavior. They’ll reveal that they’ve decided to get back together, so they’ll want him to move back home. Nikki and Victor (Eric Braeden) will stop by later. Y&R fans can expect some tense moments when they hear J.T.’s living with Victoria now.
Despite their concerns, Victor and Nikki will keep the focus on Reed. They’ll push for their grandson to remain at the ranch, but J.T. will push back. Once Nikki and Victor are gone, J.T. will secretly take his prescription pills. When Victoria reenters the room, J.T. will reassure her about all the Reed drama.
Back at the club, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will have double-date plans. Phyllis set Hilary (Mishael Morgan) up with Ravi (Abhi Sihha), but Billy won’t think they’re a good match. After they make a bet, the double date will get underway. Hilary and Ravi will eventually hit it off, but it won’t take Billy long to sabotage the evening.
When Billy says Hilary wants children ASAP, Ravi will note that he’s not ready for fatherhood. He’ll excuse himself and hit the road. Hilary will be grateful for the failed dating experience. She’ll suggest that she’d rather have a kid than a man, so everything worked out for the best.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Hilary’s serious about this baby business! She’ll rev up her efforts to achieve her goal. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news comes in.
