The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Tuesday, November 13, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will struggle to keep it together. At Jabot, she’ll get flustered over photoshoot reminders she missed. It seems Phyllis will be on edge over all the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) drama and looming deadlines, but she’ll manage to get back on track.
At the athletic club, Billy (Jason Thompson) will spot Sharon (Sharon Case) drinking coffee. He’ll settle in next to her for more commiserating. Sharon will mention her recent run-in with Phyllis and Nick (Joshua Morrow). She’ll add that they have to put the past behind them and move on with their lives.
Meanwhile, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) will try to slip out of his place without disturbing Mia (Noemi Gonzalez). She’ll catch him and seek answers, but Rey will suggest he just didn’t want to wake her. Mia will point out that she’s really missed Rey, but he’ll be eager to get to work.
Later, Mia will stop by the police station and spot Sharon. She’ll seem agitated about all the time Rey and Sharon spend together. Once Rey and Sharon are alone, they’ll discuss their canceled plans. Rey will argue that things might’ve taken a different turn if Mia hadn’t arrived. However, Sharon will assure Rey that she supports his reunion. She’ll suggest Mia and Rey should make it work if they can.
At Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) studio, a confrontation will go down. Mariah will dump the cash bag on the bed, which will prompt complaints from Tessa. She won’t want Mariah touching her belongings. Of course, Mariah won’t think that’s the real problem here. She’ll demand answers, but Tessa will push her to let it go.
After Tessa goes to work, she’ll tuck her bag away and appear rattled. Lauren’s (Tracey E. Bregman) coffee order will get messed up in the chaos, but Esther (Kate Linder) will help Tessa make things right. Next, Mia will waltz in and hear Lauren talking about how Phyllis needs a make-up artist. Once she fills Lauren in on her experience, Mia will be hired on the spot.
Mia will meet Phyllis at Jabot and immediately impress her. A little later, Billy will learn he’s being left out of the photoshoot. He’ll gripe about that and push for credit on his Jaboutiques idea. Phyllis will argue that she’s the one who’s making it happen. She’ll plan to be front and center at the launch party – along with her plus one.
Phyllis will contend that Billy can bring anybody he wants to the shindig. She’ll suggest it makes no difference to her. At Rey’s place, Mia will inform him that she got a job. He’ll be pleased since it means they’ll both be staying busy. Mia will be ready to fix their marriage, but Rey will seem reluctant. He’ll tell Mia that he needs a bit more time.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Mia will corner Sharon. At Crimson Lights, she’ll make it clear that her reunion’s happening, so Rey’s off-limits. Y&R fans can expect Mia to get in Sharon’s face and make herself perfectly clear. She’ll want Sharon to back off, so Sharon will agree.
Back with Tessa, she’ll be summoned for another confrontation with Mariah. After Tessa arrives at the studio, Mariah will question where the money came from. Tessa will lie that she stole from Mariah’s journal again and sold a song.
Mariah won’t buy that Tessa got $230,000 for that, but Tessa will admit she paid the baddies who were pressuring her. That’ll leave Mariah with the realization it was originally $250,000. When Tessa once again refuses to come clean, Mariah will start packing her stuff. Tessa will protest that she loves her, but Mariah won’t believe that without the truth.
Tessa scored the same amount as the blackmailer, but we’re willing to bet it’s not quite that simple. Is Tessa working with someone else? What’s the whole story?
