The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, October 2, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) wedding day will arrive. They’ll both face a mixture of emotions as they prepare to wed. The suspense will certainly build as everyone gears up for some heartfelt vows.
It’s worth mentioning that the wedding will be delayed just a bit. The Young and the Restless has been promoting October 1 as the episode we’ve all been waiting for. Thanks to the recent preemption, that’ll bump the ceremony’s kickoff to October 2.
Of course, it’ll take several episodes for all the drama to play out. Y&R fans know time moves slowly in Genoa City! For now, let’s talk about some pre-wedding jitters. Those will definitely be on full display in Tuesday’s episode.
Sharon and Nick love each other, but they’re keeping major secrets. They’ve resolved to keep those secrets to themselves, but some obstacles could get in the way. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will be Nick’s biggest threat.
After learning the secret from Summer (Hunter King) on Friday, Mariah will be left to wrestle with this impossible choice. Can she live with deceiving Sharon or will she have to blow up the wedding? Mariah will inch closer to her decision in Tuesday’s episode. She’ll fish for info from Nick as she weighs her options.
Mariah will grill Nick about the significant women in his life. She’ll wonder if he’s got unfinished business with any of them, which will score a strange look from Nick. He may ask what Mariah’s getting at. Will he suspect that she knows about his hookup with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni)?
If this turns into a confrontation, Nick might beg Mariah to keep her mouth shut. Then again, Mariah might hide what she knows and keep mulling this over. She may want to make her choice without Nick’s added pressure.
Over with Sharon, she’ll also face some hiccups before heading to the altar. There’ll be concerns when Sharon’s late to the gathering. Victor (Eric Braeden) will fear that Nick’s being stood up! We should also mention that Hunter King will be temporarily replaced starting October 2. That date has changed due to the preemption we mentioned.
Bayley Corman will step in the role for three episodes, so she’ll be on hand for some wedding mayhem. The Young and the Restless spoilers say a secret will indeed be exposed this week. It looks like it’ll be Nick’s, but will it happen before or after they tie the knot? Time will tell, but the fallout should be explosive no matter what!
Finally, it appears Billy (Jason Thompson) will officially be forced out as CEO. Traci (Beth Maitland) will agree to take his place at Jabot for now, so Billy should be devastated.
