The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Tuesday, October 23, tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will try some new coping tactics. In prison, Lily will use some red candies to make herself some “lipstick.” Since she also received some sparkly cards, she’ll use the glitter as eyeshadow. Lily will imagine she’s glamorous and enjoying a night out with Cane (Daniel Goddard).
Meanwhile, Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon (Bryton James) will scold Cane for bailing on Lily. They’ll think he should’ve sucked it up and visited her as planned. Cane will understand that Lily needs him right now, so he’ll decide to go see her. Devon will tag along as they prepare for anything. Lily was upset and touchy during Cane’s last trip, so they won’t know what to expect.
Fortunately, Lily will be in better spirits this time. She’ll talk about some of the tricks she’s using to be positive. Even little things like fake make-up can make a huge difference. Once they’re alone, Cane and Lily will enjoy a little fantasy moment together. They’ll discuss what their perfect date night would look like, so that should help Lily stay strong.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack (Peter Bergman) will get horrifying news. At Jabot, he’ll walk in and wonder what’s going on. Kyle (Michael Mealor) will eventually hand over the document from the safe, so Jack’s in for a shock. He’ll realize Ashley (Eileen Davidson) has ownership of all patents, ideas and products that she developed. That includes nearly all of Jabot’s profitable lines.
Dina (Marla Adams) will believe Jack is John (Jerry Douglas), so she’ll mention how they wanted to protect Ashley. As parents, they didn’t want her to get muscled out once they were gone. Since Jabot would go bankrupt if they honored the contract, Jack will ultimately decide to shred it. Dina will look stunned as Jack destroys each paper.
Over with Abby (Melissa Ordway), she’ll have another conversation with Ashley. Abby will admit she’s been trying to understand, but she just can’t. She won’t get how Ashley could be so cruel to Jack. Ashley will once again explain her choices before Jack appears. Y&R spoilers say Abby will think this is a good time for them to hash things out, so the quarreling siblings will try.
Jack will imply that maybe Ashley was driven to her breaking point. He’ll want to find a way forward, which is what Ashley will want, too. They’ll decide to be transparent from now on and attempt to get past the paternity plot.
At the Abbott mansion, Traci (Beth Maitland) will grill Kyle about Lola (Sasha Calle) and urge him to fight for her. Next, Dina (Marla Adams) will show up and rant at useless Kyle. She’ll feel like he should’ve helped her stop Jack’s destruction. Traci will realize something went down at Jabot, so she’ll head off to investigate.
Later, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Traci will discover the paper shreds. She’ll put them back together and look absolutely floored. Y&R fans can expect Traci to step up for Ashley soon, so stay tuned. We’ll give you updates as other details emerge.
