The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, September 18 Update – Jack Ignores Victor – Billy’s Big Risk – Mariah Desperate

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update and recap for Tuesday, September 18, tease that Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) concerns will grow stronger. She’ll catch Billy (Jason Thompson) getting rattled over a phone call and wonder what’s up. He’ll blame his frustration on budget issues, but she’ll eventually get him to come clean about the elite gambling group.

Phyllis will naturally be concerned, but Billy will believe everything’s going to work out. He’ll think he can cut budgets a bit and come out ahead in the end. Over with Summer (Hunter King), she’ll spar with Kyle (Michael Mealor) over a report she’s drawn up. After Kyle lashes out, Summer will insist that she’s just trying to fix their relationship.

Later, Phyllis will corner Summer and sense that something’s bothering her. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will confess to hurting Kyle. She’ll note that he hates her like everybody else, but Phyllis will promise that’s not the case. They’ll head to The Dive Bar to continue their discussion.

During their latest chat, Summer will admit that going after Billy was really about targeting Phyllis. When Phyllis questions why, Summer will run down the list of her mom’s transgressions. They’ll hash things out, but Summer won’t be sure they can ever truly hit the reset button. Phyllis will contend that maybe this conversation is a step in the right direction.

At the police station, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) will grill Victor (Eric Braeden) about the last time he saw J.T. (Thad Luckinbill). Victor will point out that it was right after he woke up in the hospital. Talk will turn to Nick, who Victor still cares about despite the sabotage. He’ll suggest that certain bonds are tough to break.

Back with Kyle, he’ll offer Lola (Sasha Calle) an apology for being rude before. She’ll express her gratitude and gab with Kyle a little. After Rey shows up, he’ll wonder if Lola got all the legal stuff sorted out for the food truck. Rey will also wonder if Lola’s dating someone, but she’ll just want her brother to stay out of her business.

Afterward, Lola will find Kyle again at Crimson Lights. She’ll wonder if he’s going to ask her out or what. Kyle will take the suggestion, so Lola will promise to think of a location for their date. Also at the coffeehouse, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will embrace Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) from behind. Tessa’s grimace will tip Mariah off to pain, she’ll take a closer look and discover the bruises on her arms.

Once Tessa confesses that she got caught in some danger, Mariah will once again offer money. Tessa will refuse it, but Mariah will still want to help. She’ll convince Nick (Joshua Morrow) to give Tessa a better job at Dark Horse, so at least Tessa can make money faster.

At Jabot, Billy will order a massive wire transfer. He’ll tell Gloria (Judith Chapman) to get the ball rolling on it, so she’ll do as she’s told. Over at the Abbott mansion, Jack will get a visit from Victor. They’ll argue about the photo and whether Jack should butt out of Victor’s family matters.

Jack will admit that he thought about dropping his search for answers. However, Victor’s visit will make him believe he should move forward. Y&R fans can expect their feud to intensify. Victor will warn Jack not to make any plays for his legacy, but Jack won’t be scared off.
