The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 5, tease that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) will hurl accusations and point the finger at the Newman clan. He’ll wonder if Nick (Joshua Morrow) might’ve had something to do with the fire, but Nick will scoff at that. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) hangs out in the stables all the time, so Nick would never create any kind of danger there.
Rey will show off an evidence bag containing a gun, which was found hidden in the stables. He’ll explain that it was registered to Victor (Eric Braeden) and his prints happen to be the only ones on it. J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) bloody shirt was also found on the property, so big trouble’s brewing. Since Victor recently dropped off the map, that’s not helping his case here.
Rey will declare Victor the prime suspect in J.T.’s murder, so Nikki will have to make some tough choices soon. In the meantime, Devon (Bryton James) will reluctantly head to a therapy session. He’ll make it clear that he has somewhere he’d rather be, but he’ll stick around to open up anyway. Devon will talk about how his family just doesn’t seem to understand his struggles.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will make a painful Hilary (Mishael Morgan) confession. He’ll admit often has nightmares about his dead wife and their baby. Sometimes his dreams are horrible and other times they’re not, but it’s always a nightmare when Devon wakes up and realizes Hilary’s gone.
Devon’s therapist will think a low-dose anxiety prescription might help Devon. He’ll be reluctant to take pills over the addiction risk, but his therapist will insist it’ll be better than self-medicating with booze. Over with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), their teamwork will impress Rebekah Barlow. She’ll reveal that they’re definitely on her short list as she prepares to make a deal.
Rebekah will notice Nick (Joshua Morrow) across the room at the athletic club. She’ll seem interested and wonder if she can get an introduction. Phyllis will note that it can be arranged. At home later, Phyllis will suggest that she could give Nick a massage. He’ll assume she wants something, so he’ll tell her to name it. Phyllis will wonder if he’d be willing to go out on a date with another woman.
Other Y&R spoilers say Devon will wrap up his therapy session. He’ll head back to his penthouse for his own Rebekah Barlow meeting. Unfortunately, it won’t go as well as he’d hoped. For starters, Devon will admit he forgot about the meeting briefly. He’ll refuse to postpone when Nate (Brooks Darnell) offers him an out.
After Rebekah arrives, she’ll be adamant about meeting the artist Devon’s pushing. Sadly, Renee’s on tour in Italy and couldn’t make it to Genoa City. Rebekah will gripe about Devon wasting her time, but Ana (Loren Lott) will jump in and try to salvage the meeting. The stress of the whole situation will bring on another panic attack for Devon, so he’ll clutch his chest and struggle to breathe.
