The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 31, tease that Noah (Robert Adamson) will continue to feel like a fool. As he unloads his problems on Nick (Joshua Morrow), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) (who is now confirmed to be leaving Y&R shortly) will catch the end of their conversation. Nick will suggest that trust is the most important thing you can have in a relationship.
Once she’s alone, Chelsea will look anxious as she grabs the money Nick found. She’ll stuff it in a bag before taking off. Afterward, Chelsea will put the cash in a slot at the columbarium. She’ll open one with Adam’s (Justin Hartley) name on it and dump the stacks. Chelsea clearly doesn’t want to share her loot!
Meanwhile, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will get some difficult news. They’ll find out that Devon (Bryton James) brought GC Buzz back, so they’ll be around each other more often. The idea of being in each other’s orbit will especially vex Mariah. When Tessa tries to ease the tension, Mariah will give her the cold shoulder.
Later, Victor (Eric Braeden) will get updates on Noah’s suffering. Once he spots Tessa at the athletic club, Victor will offer a stern warning. Tessa will need to steer clear of the Newman family and never hurt its members again.
Elsewhere, Noah will be amused by Mariah’s predicament. They’ll chuckle over how she’s being forced to work with Tessa. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah and Noah will hope to move past their recent issues. They’ll head to the movie theater to catch a flick.
As Cane (Daniel Goddard) watches on his tablet baby monitor, Lily (Christel Khalil) will struggle to bond with Sam. When Cane comes home, he’ll fill Lily in on his concerns. In addition to this incident, Cane already caught Lily lying to avoid kid care. He’ll think they should enjoy a date night so Lily doesn’t get too overwhelmed.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will pop in at Jabot. She’ll gather the rest of her stuff so she can get settled in at Newman. Ash will spar with Jack again and share a sweet moment with Ravi (Abhi Sinha). A short time later, Jack will urge Victor to be good to Ashley. Now that she’s in enemy territory, Jack may be a bit worried.
Over with Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman), she’ll face a strange mystery. There won’t be a record of a dress Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) assistant tried to return. The sale was supposedly made on the Chelsea 2.0 website, but nothing showed up when it was taken back to one of Fenmore’s locations.
After some digging, Ravi will have answers for Lauren. The Chelsea 2.0 site was hacked and cloned. Ravi will note that someone’s been selling knockoffs of Chelsea’s designs. Based on Chelsea’s shady behavior and impending Y&R exit, she may be to blame. At Hamilton-Winters, Devon and Hilary will get a little flirty. They’ll sip Champagne as they celebrate their new deal.
