The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 1-5 tease that major drama’s ahead in Genoa City. First, let’s talk about Billy’s (Jason Thompson) ruin. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will call an emergency board meeting to bring Billy’s company theft to light. She’ll decide she can’t stand by and watch Jabot continue down this path.
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) will agree to bail Billy out of trouble. After Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) talks Jack into handing over half the cash, he’ll make Billy agree to a rehab stint. Jack’s in for a shock when he realizes he didn’t get the whole story. At the board meeting, Jack will find out Billy needed that money to pay back Jabot. He’ll definitely be taken aback by just how far Billy took this.
It looks like the no-confidence vote will go against Billy, so Jabot will need a new CEO. Traci (Beth Maitland) will be willing to fill in for now. She’ll hate doing this to Billy, but she’ll feel like they’re out of options. Ashley wasn’t going to back down, so Traci will just hope to control the family damage as best as she can.
Later, Ashley will pull off a big victory. Perhaps she’ll succeed in getting rid of the blood-Abbott clause. That would put Ashley, who actually has the necessary corporate experience, one step closer to the throne. Of course, we know Eileen Davidson will departing the role soon. It seems Ashley’s success story will be short-lived!
Elsewhere, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) will do some final wedding preparations. They’ll battle nerves as they try to keep their ill-advised actions under wraps. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will have a huge decision to make thanks to that hookup shocker. She’ll consider telling Sharon the truth about what Nick did behind her back with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).
Nick will get interrogated about the significant women in his past. He’ll face Mariah’s questions as she tries to figure out if he’ll truly put Sharon first. Mariah will realize that what matters is what Nick does moving forward. She’ll just have a hard time determining if he’s still the good guy he claims to be.
Later, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will be late to the nuptials. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will give Nick a hug as they fret over the situation. The poor girl’s always disappointed when her parents’ romance implodes. Victor (Eric Braeden) will suspect that Sharon stood Nick up, but he won’t understand why. He’ll definitely think it’s a good mystery to ponder.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Phyllis will worry that this is about the cover-up secret. They’ll just hope they can keep the deadly J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) details under wraps. Someone will get a fortune this week that contains a startling threat. It’ll simply state,” I know what you did, and I’m going to make you pay.” Uh-oh! That sounds awfully ominous.
A surprising visitor will also make it to Genoa City this week. Y&R fans will be anxious to see who shows up. Finally, a secret will indeed be revealed. It appears Nick and Sharon’s wedding will turn into a total disaster, so that one-night stand may blow up in the end.
